Individual & Family Therapy

In both Individual and Family therapy sessions, our initial focus is to gain an understanding of what led you to seek therapy at this time. We’ll work together to figure out which assessments you may need and what type of therapy you may be most receptive to. In our first few sessions, I will collect background information to provide a more informed focus on how your experiences thus far are influencing your current concerns.

Session frequency is determined by level of need. Most clients are seen weekly or bi weekly as we get to know each other and build rapport.  I currently do not have the availability to see clients more than once per week. If you need additional or more intensive support, we can collaborate to find appropriate care with either group work, another therapist or other resources.

Rates

  • Initial psychiatric diagnostic sessions: $175

  • 55 minute session: $150

  • 45 minute session: $130

I will provide a Good Faith Estimate as required as a part of the No Surprises Act for any clients paying out of pocket for services.

I utilize an integrative approach based initially in psychodynamic and family systems theory.  Additional modalities that I incorporate include IFS informed, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Polyvagal theory, DBT informed care.  I will often share new modalities, theories or strategies that I believe may be helpful in providing context for care or interventions as I am constantly engaged in the learning process.

Family therapy can be more short term and problem focused depending on what you present when we meet. I may meet individually with each family member initially if I assess that this could be beneficial to the family unit.
